Editorial Use Licence: People portrayed in images who have not signed a commercial model release form deem that image only available for editorial use, eg: photographs of events, a basic editorial use licence for a single image is currently £40GBP.
Commercial Use Licence: The use of any photographic image commercially requires the purchase of a use licence. This sets out what you may and may not use the image for, and for how long. This is the cheapest way to gain the use of an image and examples include ‘single issue magazine publication’ and ‘website, editorial, 3 months’ etc. Use licences can be arranged for each specific need and can be extended. Prices for commercial use vary greatly, contact us for a quote.
Exclusive Use: When you commission us to take photographs to your specification or of your event you will usually receive an ‘exclusive use licence’ which means that we retain copyright of all images and we retain backup copies of all images but you have exclusive use of them within the intended use specified in the contract eg. website advertising of a regular event or an advertising campaign for a specific product.
Transfer of copyright: You may wish to commission, request or purchase an image or a set of images totally and outright so they become wholly and completely your property. This consists of a transfer of copyright, though it is far more expensive than negotiating a use licence.
Prints: Photographic Prints and Canvas Prints are available for most of our images, these may not be used commercially nor reproduced in any way. See our SHOP for pricing.
